Hi, Tracey here, just wanted to express my grattitude for, and appreciation of, your first class friendly service, incredibly delicious food and picturesque venue. 
I did a google search for restaurants in Queensland, found your website, Mum and I perused the menus and our mouths started watering. We were choosing a surprise lunch venue for my Aunty Phyl, part of a tradition that the four of us have for each of our birthdays.
We made the call, then the booking and looked forward to a lovely day out. (We were not disappointed) 
Yesterday (Saturday), I brought my Mum, my Nanna and my Aunty Phyl to celebrate her birthday. We drove from Capalaba to Ipswich to collect the birthday girl, then to OVE.
From the momment we drove in the gate we all drew in our breath at the views, and I felt instantly relaxed.  Aunty Phyl said she was very happy to be celebrating her birthday there and we hadn’t got out of the car at that point. 
The Cellar Door (staff & ambience) was a real treat (and I don’t even drink).  We were made to feel very welcome, no rushing, nothing was a problem (including my allergy to alcohol). All of the wines were enjoyed, some more than others. 
The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.  At the end of the meal we all agreed that we would be most happy to pull up a deck chair and let the food settle while we enjoyed the view.
 
The tour of the winery, explaining the processes was most informative and enjoyable too!
 
It was a thoroughly delightful day in all ways possible. 
 
Hats off to you all, you have a beautiful place with a great atmosphere. If I lived closer I’d put my name down to be part of the friendly team myself. We will definately be back!

My sister and brother in law and I visited you yesterday for lunch and I just wanted to say how very much we enjoyed ourselves.   The staff were really superb and from the moment we crossed the threshold to the time we left, we felt that we received the very best of attention at all times.   That, of course, leaves out the food and wine, but don’t worry, this was all just as good and our memories of your great cuisine and delicious wine will long remain with us.
Please pass on our thanks to all the staff in the restaurant, kitchen and tasting room – it was the highlight of my visit to Australia and, next time I come over from UK, I shall try to persuade Margie and Mike to book another meal!
