Redsell Brothers
The Redsell Brothers are two Brisbane boys that share the same passion for live music. David and Jaymes, both with over 15 years of experience team up to make this killer Acoustic Duo. The Brothers originally formed as a function band playing cover songs for weddings and special events all through North Queensland and The Great South East but after playing everyone else’s music for so long they’ve finally started to write their own tunes. Dave Redsell, the lead singer/song writer has come up with some great new songs. Their music is relaxed, fun but still tight and real easy to listen too while the lyrics seam to take you on this little journey of love and life his smooth voice strikes a chord with your soul.

Cameron Elliott
The key to Cameron Elliott’s originality lies in his somewhat unusual childhood. Having lived in England , America , Japan and Malaysia all before the age of 10, it is no surprise that the subject matter of Cameron’s poetic lyrics is often observational and reflective. The constant pressure to adjust to his changing surroundings and the social nuances of these foreign countries forced him into the practice of constantly studying himself and others and maintaining an open mind. This regular upheaval could also explain the slightly schizophrenic nature of his music which shifts from song to song, always on an acoustic guitar but very rarely in a definable musical vein. He drifts through surreal, rollicking alt-country tales of shape shifters and fever dreams, folk ballads of voyages through Americas rugged west, and flamenco guitar-lined stories of ex-lover exorcisms.
Combining a playing style garnered from greats such as Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, and Nick Drake and a rich, laid back vocal quality evocative of Jim Croce, Cameron has forged a sound all of his own. He is the archetypal seeker, searching for solutions through poetry and music to most if not all of life’s little puzzles and relaying them back to anyone who cares to listen.
Cameron began playing solo around Brisbane in mid 2004 and has since had the pleasure to play with many brilliant Australian artists such as The Boat People, The Gin Club, Loren, Halfday, Jackie Marshall, Tom Cooney, Carus and Mick Hart. He has performed at venues such as The Troubadour, Rics Cafe, Judith Wright Centre, The Powerhouse, The Zoo, and The Alley Bar.
Over the past year, he received his first airplay on Triple J (“All Aboard” was featured on Roots and All), completed a tour of New Zealand , and recorded his first official release entitled “Witches and Pilgrims”. This four track EP was launched to a packed-out Troubadour audience on the 25th of June and is out now on Television Records. The first single from it, entitled ” Argentina “, is currently being given high rotation on 612 ABC Brisbane.

Joe Daniel
Joe Daniel is an original Australian artist born in Canada and now calls Brisbane home. His music is pure, honest, and straight from the heart. He has a way of wrapping meaningful lyrics in delightful tunes. Joe’s music is classic singer songwriter acoustic style with a little bit of soul.
His first album Hard Chair is a collection of songs which are an emotionally honest account an alternative upbringing while capturing the essence of the journey back ‘home’.
He has traveled extensively and gained a great deal from lessons learned through life’s trials, experiences, victories, defeats and by honestly and truthfully listening to people and putting himself in their shoes.
Joe Daniel learnt his first three chords at age seven as he was the eldest of a large family who busked for a living for the best part of his childhood. Song writing followed years later after his exploration of poetry went to the next level. Joe likes being the messenger through whom the words and music flow passing on messages with each listener able to take different things from the songs.
His influences include Kings of Leon, Angus & Julia Stone, Passenger, David Gray, Ben Harper, Jeff Buckley, Something for Kate, Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, Katie Noonan and many, many more.
