A few years later (2001), construction began on our first winery (shed) and the café. An exciting time that demanded a pink sparkly dress.

2002 marked the year of our first vintage. With the number of grapes the girls ate, it’s surprising we made any wine at all. 

The café opened soon after with Kate cooking her famous pies and Thomas serving in the cellar door.

Over the years we’ve planted more vineyards, built an award winning Restaurant, extended the Winery, put in a purpose built function room for the perfect weddings, and so much more.

Always by her dad’s side, Eldest daughter Hannah and her husband Andrew now make wine alongside and under the guidance of Thomas. Hannah also started brewing beer at Ocean View Estates, which was an exciting new venture, but due to financial strain through the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic has had to stop.

Not all changes from the 2020 pandemic were bad. We have now turned our cellar door into Ocean View Providore, the perfect place for a relaxed bite to eat, a perfect coffee, or maybe grab some cheeses, antipasto and a bottle of wine and find somewhere to picnic on our stunning 150 acre property.
